Tess rainbow warrior bombing argument

In 1984 the French blew up the new Zealand rainbow warrior boat on the Auckland port because the new Zealand rainbow warrior was getting ready to go to france to protest because New Zealand didn’t agree with the french nuclear bomb testing. At night while crew members were in the boat, a french “secret agent’’ swam under the boat and stuck a bomb onto the boat waiting for it to blow up so the rainbow warrior couldn't go to france. When the bomb blew up one man got killed some climbed up onto the top of the roof and the rest jumped onto the wharf. 1 year later the french gave New Zealand 13 million dollars and then the two men that stuck the bomb on the boat got 10 years in prison for manslaughter.

  2. Tess, what is your personal opinion on this event? Can you see it from the french perspective? Imagine what it was like as a New Zealander at the time...
